艺人简介
1984年， 二十岁的Vanessa凭藉着青春美貌，荣登选美会的冠军宝座，成为第一位黑人当选美国小姐，锋头正健，后由于被揭发曾替成人杂志拍裸照而取消桂冠，并受到媒介的指责，舆论压力。 Vanessa 并没有因此一蹶不振，她凭着漂亮的面孔，绝妙的身材，和一副极具实力的好歌喉开始向乐坛进军。 1988年，Vanessa 推出第一张个人专辑《The Right Stuff》,在美国取得不俗成绩。专辑中有四首单曲闯入Billboard Top 10， Vanessa还因此获得葛莱美最佳新人奖提名。 1992年，Vanessa 又推出第二张个人专辑《The Comfort Zone》，这张专辑集合了 Amy Grant、Keith Thomas 等资深音乐人的才智，具有很高的水准。其中《Running B- ack To You》率先冲进Billboard Top 10，接着一首《Save The Best For Last》更是包括Billboard，美国成人音乐榜Soul Mus- ic榜的三料冠军，成绩相当骄人，这是一首抒情、优美的歌曲，听来令人倍感飘逸。这张专辑中，歌曲类型向多元化发展，融合了 Soul、R ＆ B、Jazz、Classical、Ballat, Funk等各异的风格。 Vanessa Williams正以她成熟的音乐条件逐渐向乐坛一流歌手的方向发展。

在迪士尼几十年以来的卡通长片经典中，《风中奇缘》可以说是非常特别的一部，因为这是在所有以“人”为主角的迪士尼卡通里面，头一次让“有色人种”当主角，而且也不是以“皆大欢喜”作为故事的结局。而尽管我对这个故事已经十分熟悉，但是每次重新观赏、特别是在听到片中着名的插曲“Colors of the Wind”的时候，都仍然难免有许多感慨。这首歌的歌词虽然很简单，意义却是非常深远的。而故事里白人和印第安人的关系，以及歌曲里人类和大自然的关系，都值得我们去深思。我们的家园现在面临的不也正是这样的情况吗？为了经济的发展，树林砍掉了；草原破坏了；河流不在清澈；安静的生活也一去不返。我们小的时候能去山上爬树、水里捞鱼，而如今的孩子只能住在钢筋水泥的“树林”里玩着电脑游戏。当你摒弃了以自我为中心的态度，当你放开心胸爱我们身边的自然，相信你能体会到风的色彩。

老歌了，但还是很好听！
顺便提一下，歌手也拍过电影。大家记得阿诺有部片子叫“蒸发密令”（IRASER），女主角就是WILLIAMS扮演的。
